OUR STORY

BUILT BY A FREELANCER
WHO WAS SICK OF THE CHAOS.

Every freelancer knows the drill. Client sends a 5-page email rambling about "something like Airbnb but for dogs" with no budget, no timeline, and no clear deliverables. You spend 2 hours deciphering it into something actionable. Then scope creep starts. Then the "but I also wanted..." conversations begin.

Briefance was born from that exact frustration. Instead of manually extracting requirements from chaotic messages, we built an AI engine that does it in seconds, flagging missing information, generating smart follow-up questions, and producing bulletproof briefs that protect your time and money.

We're not a giant corporation. We're freelancers building tools for freelancers. Every feature exists because we needed it ourselves.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

SPEED OVER CEREMONY

Freelancers don't have time for 47-step workflows. Paste, analyze, export. Done.

CLARITY KILLS SCOPE CREEP

Every misunderstood requirement costs money. We make sure nothing slips through the cracks.

YOUR DATA IS YOURS

Client briefs are sensitive. We never train AI on your data, never share it, never sell it. Period.

TIME IS THE REAL CURRENCY

Every hour spent deciphering vague emails is an hour not spent on actual creative work.

FOUNDER NOTE

HALIL BERKAY SAHIN

FOUNDER & DEVELOPER

I'll keep this short.

I've been freelancing full-stack for years. Most of it was fine. The part that wasn't was client intake.

You know how it goes. A three paragraph email about "the vibe." Half a Notion doc. A Loom the client didn't finish recording. Then: "can you send a proposal?" No budget mentioned, no deadline, no deliverables. Just vibes.

Briefance started as an internal tool I built for myself, because I was losing two hours per project just reading messages before I could open Figma. It was ugly. It worked. A friend asked to use it. Then a few more. I rebuilt it properly and here we are.

It's just me, working out of Turkey. No VC money behind this, not trying to become an enterprise tool. Your briefs stay yours. Your data stays yours. That's not marketing. That's the whole reason I left a "real job" in the first place.

If something breaks, email me. I actually read it.
